Stibbe acts on $385m Belgian property deal

Leading Benelux firm Stibbe has advised on a multi-million dollar Belgian real estate acquisition which sees the Belgian insurance company Fortis purchase Bernheim Comofi from Security Capital European Realty.

The $385m cash deal, signed last month and currently awaiting European Commission (EC) clearance, is one of the largest real estate deals in the Belgian market in recent years.
