A&O sets up Philippines first with Manila hires

UK banking giant Allen & Overy (A&O) has become the first foreign firm to set up a base in the Philippines after hiring two local lawyers to run an office in Manila.

The Philippines office, which was set up last year but not announced until now, is headed by legal consultant Andy Bautista.
