Top 10 Dutch firm Boekel De Neree has pulled out of its exclusive alliance with Eversheds in a major setback to the national firm’s European ambitions.
When the deal between the pair was struck in December 1999, the two sides said their ultimate objective was a merger. However, after a review of the relationship (Legal Week, 2 May) the Dutch partners decided to end the formal alliance.
