Herbert Smith has postponed plans to expand the membership of its European alliance into Italy and Spain – despite agreeing closer integration in Germany and the Netherlands.
The grouping, which was agreed last year when Benelux firm Stibbe signed a deal to join the exclusive alliance between Herbert Smith and Germany’s Gleiss Lutz Hootz Hirsch, had been considering adding new members.
