Hard-Nosed does not have ‘relationships’ with its suppliers and service providers. It puts most work out to tender, picks the lowest price, argues and haggles about rates until it has driven the price down even further and then, when the work has been finished, insists on further reductions.
Strangely, it is rare for the same firm or business to tender for consecutive pieces of work.
