A host of top firms including Wragge & Co, Mills & Reeve and Hammonds Suddards Edge are preparing to set up their own captive insurance funds in the face of soaring professional indemnity premiums.

Legal Week has learned that a growing number of law firms are preparing to follow DLA’s lead by setting up captive insurance schemes.
Sources at Wragges, Mills & Reeve and Hammonds have all confirmed that they have asked their brokers to come up with models.
