Slaughter and May has won a new client advising US-based Prudential Financial on UK law aspects relating to the demutualisation of its subsidiary The Prudential Insurance Company of America.

The work was referred to Slaughters by white shoe US firm Sullivan & Cromwell, which used Slaughters to review the US documentation and check its appropriateness for the UK and European markets.
