When considering the area of employment and employment tribunals in Scotland and England it is difficult to see why differences should arise or why rivalries even exist. After all, employment tribunals in England and Scotland are concerned with the same statutes and the same body – the Department of Trade and Industry – administers them and the regulations constituting them are almost identical.
