Rowe & Maw on verge of US merger

Rowe & Maw and Mayer Brown & Platt are on the verge of sealing their transatlantic merger, with the Chicago firm set to vote on Friday (25 January) in the wake of a successful vote from its prospective City partner earlier this month.

The two firms have been in talks since August last year and practice heads and groups from both firms have met on several occasions.
