ITV: The television group has promoted Paul Matthews to the role of head of legal affairs. Matthews was previously head of legal at ONdigital (now ITV Digital) which was integrated into the ITV group last year. He reports to the director of legal and regulatory affairs for ITV Marcus Ezekiel. The company has also hired Edwin Mayer from Entranet to the legal team.
Allied Domecq: Marcos Tarancon has been promoted to general counsel Europe of the spirits, wine and restaurant giant. He will relocate from Spain to the company’s Bristol office. Marta Garcia Alba has been appointed assistant general counsel Europe. Maria Reay has been appointed deputy group general counsel. Reay’s main responsibility will be to advise The Wine Alliance, the group’s new global wine division.
