Simmons merges with Italian ally

Simmons & Simmons has merged with its associated Padua office in an attempt to strengthen the firm’s Italian practice following the departure of its former Rome head.

The merger, which became official on 1 January, sees the firm gain a new two-partner presence in Padua with eight lawyers in total.
