Freshfields in non-legal hiring freeze

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has imposed a three-month hiring freeze on non-legal staff in the latest evidence of firms cutting costs in the wake of slowing corporate activity.

Senior sources have confirmed that “save for exceptional circumstances” there will be no new hiring or hiring to replace staff lost through natural wastage until at least the New Year.
