The Clyde & Co partner leading an audacious bid to topple the management at Premier Oil took his campaign to the listed company’s annual general meeting (AGM) this week.

Peter Felter, Clyde & Co’s head of energy, said that after the AGM, which he expected to be “a bit of a non-event”, the rebel shareholders’ association that he heads would look to call an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to oust the oil company’s chief executive, Charles Jamieson.
