Corporate crime specialists have blasted the Legal Services Commission (LSC) for using high street firms on complex fraud cases after it emerged this week that the LSC’s high-cost panel has swollen to 109 firms.
Responding to inquiries from Legal Week, the LSC admitted that the fraud panel has grown by more than 30 firms, since it was set up a year ago.
