Edinburgh-based firm Burness has appointed head of corporate Alan Stewart as the firm’s new managing partner.
Stewart, who only joined the 33-partner firm in April from the Clydesdale Bank, has stepped into the shoes of former managing partner Ken Ross, who returned to fee earning when his term ended in October 1999.
