The dress-down craze that spread from Arthur Andersen at the beginning of this year does not seem to have filtered through to Edinburgh-based Andersen Legal member Dundas & Wilson.

When the e-mail came from Chicago announcing that ‘soft collars and slacks’ might be allowed for work, managing partner Chris Campbell is understood to have hit the reply button immediately. He informed the sender in no uncertain terms that there was no possibility whatsoever of that sort of thing going on at his office.
