Denton Hall acted for BPP, the professional education group, on its acquisition of EQL International, whose principal business is computer-based training and assessment of finance and related subjects. Addleshaw Booth & Co advised York Waterworks Enterprises, a subsidiary of the Kelda Group (formerly Yorkshire Water), on the sale of York Gas to Independent Energy for an undisclosed amount. Utilities and corporate finance partner Sandra Humphrey led the team. Independent Energy was advised by Masons, led by corporate partner Victor Hawrych.
