Cameron McKenna is understood to be talking to three US firms with a view to a potential merger.
Neither managing partner Robert Derry-Evans nor senior partner Bill Shelford were available for comment, but it is understood that the firm is looking to tie-up with a New York firm with a strong projects, energy and infrastructure practice.
