Insurance firm BLM has put a number of its Manchester lawyers and partners at risk of redundancy as it looks to cut its fraud team in the city.

The firm is consulting with three partners and their teams in its Manchester fraud practice over potential redundancies as it looks to create a “centre of excellence” for fraud work in Birmingham, over 80 miles away. The firm announced the creation of a 35-strong fraud team in Birmingham earlier this year.
