Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld saw revenue rise 7.1% to $930m (£645m) in 2015, the year following a lateral hiring spree by the 851-lawyer firm.

Revenue per lawyer at Akin Gump was up 3.8%, to $1.1m (£762,000), while partner profit inched up 1.6%, to $1.92m (£1.3m), in the first full year after the firm took on a large team from now-defunct Bingham McCutchen.
