As the results of an historic election filtered in this morning with the Conservatives winning an unpredicted outright majority, pre-election uncertainty has driven a lot of our most popular stories this week.

A Legal Week poll conducted in the closing days of campaigning found lawyers largely voicing support for the incumbent Conservative-led coalition, and holding out hopes for another coalition rather than a minority government.
