An independent review into the Civil Justice Council has recommended that the body retain its role as an advisory public body. The review, compiled by Dr Jonathan Spector and commissioned by the Ministry of Justice in February, has made 27 recommendations designed to increase the relevance, value and visibility of the body's work to the users of the civil justice system.
