Ashurst Morris Crisp is acting for holding company Enrichtech on its takeover of all the remaining shares in Mill House Inns that it does not already own. Mill House Inns’ issued ordinary share capital is about £5.6m. Corporate partner Paul Gadd and corporate solicitor Nicola Burrows acted for Ashursts, along with banking solicitor James Collis. Macfarlanes, led by corporate partner Tim Lewis, advised Mill House.

Denton Wilde Sapte acted for Challice on the purchase of a holding in the fashion retailer Mulberry. Challice is to invest £7.6m for a 41% stake in Mulberry Group. The two parties will enter into a 50:50 joint venture. Both companies will invest a further £70m in equity and loan capital. The Dentons team was headed by corporate partner Paul Sheridan, assisted by Fred Muchardt, Katharine Theobald, Lucy Rhodes and Scott Hopkins. Mulberry was represented by Osborne Clarke, led by corporate partner Paul Cooper and assisted by Andrew Braithwaite, Clare Lucas and Lucy Walker.
