We have three bones to pick with the Connecticut Judicial Selection Commission. First, there is no way to reach a commission member should a member of the public want to provide his or her input concerning a candidate that is being evaluated by the commission.

It is important that the commission receive feedback from the public concerning any candidate. An examination of the commission’s website, however, reveals that there is no way to contact a commission member. There are no telephone numbers or emails to use to contact a commission member. Typically, what is done is someone will contact the executive director to provide one’s feedback, which then will be relayed to one or more of the commission members.
