The California State Bar Court judge overseeing John Eastman’s disciplinary trial preliminarily found the former Chapman University School of Law dean culpable Thursday of aiding then-President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.

State Bar Court Judge Yvette Roland announced her preliminary ruling—without comment— after Eastman, on the 32nd day of his disciplinary trial, finished answering days of questions from state bar counsel and his own attorney, Randall Miller.
