Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc.’s soon-to-be former legal chief is landing at Volta Inc. as the San Francisco-based electric vehicle charging network company’s new top lawyer. 

Michelle Kley will step down as Virgin Galactic’s general counsel on July 19 and succeed Volta interim GC Steven Schnitzer. Kley notified Virgin Galactic—billionaire Richard Branson’s publicly traded space tourism company—earlier this month that she was resigning to take a new position.
