The Jenkins Law Library is set to be closed on MondayOctober 8 for Columbus Day.
The library reopens Tuesday and resumes normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Fox Rothschild joined the Support Center for Child Advocates as a sponsor of the agency’s seventh annual Golf Classic on Monday at the Huntingdon Valley Country Club.
All proceeds from the event will support the Child Advocates Project for Medically Needy Children, which teams staff social workers with specially trained volunteer lawyers to secure medical treatment, special education, rehabilitation services, and whenever possible, permanent homes for children with serious or chronic medical needs.

Steven D. Usdin, a shareholder in the bankruptcy, financial restructuring and risk management department at Flaster Greenberg, was tapped by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute to participate as a panelist at the 18th annual Business Lawyers’ Institute.
The panel discussion, titled “Counseling Distressed Businesses,” will discuss areas for both in-house and outside counsel to help identify signs of a company’s decline and how to advise the client in getting its financial position in place.
