A Connecticut federal judge on Friday affirmed a bankruptcy court’s dismissal of rapper 50 Cent’s malpractice claim against Reed Smith and former partner Peter Raymond.

U.S. District Judge Vanessa Bryant concluded that there was no evidence that the participation of three uncalled witnesses would have helped the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson III, avoid a $7 million jury verdict in a case in which he was accused of leaking a sex tape.
