A property owner’s assertion that a plaintiff was trespassing at the apartment complex where she broke her leg was not enough to convince a jury that the defendants in a premises liability case were not responsible for the conditions that led to the plaintiff’s injury. 

On Thursday, a Delaware County, Pennsylvania, jury issued a $900,000 verdict in favor of plaintiff Tiffany Mulero for the injuries she sustained when she fell down an unprotected stairwell at an apartment complex owned by Revere Crossing Management.
