During the six-hour argument session featuring a baker’s dozen of parties all lobbying for their distinct congressional maps, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court justices made it clear that the debate was not one they want to have again. 

“It’s fair to say none of us on this bench are in the mapmaking business,” said Justice Kevin Dougherty. “That is for the General Assembly. We are unwillingly forced to be here. So let’s make that clear. ”
