An Amarillo attorney faces a legal malpractice lawsuit by a criminal defendant who claimed the lawyer met him in a coffee shop because he didn’t have an office.

In a case touches on how important that privacy can be for a client when discussing confidential attorney-client privileged information with his attorney, client Daniel Esteban Flores filed the litigation against Travis Lee Tidmore, a solo practitioner who represented Flores in a sexual assault case.
