A health care company did not infringe on the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution when it fired an employee for posting negative remarks about Black Lives Matter on Facebook, a New Jersey appeals court ruled.

The employee’s right to speak her mind did not outweigh her employer’s right to promote an inclusive, nondivisive environment for its clients and employees, the appeals court ruled when it affirmed a trial court ruling upholding the dismissal.
