Manhattan attorney Peter Heberling was disbarred by a unanimous Appellate Division, First Department, panel on Tuesday as a result of pleading guilty to attempted dissemination of indecent material to minors in the first degree.
Heberling, formerly of the firm Salans, which is now part of Dentons, pleaded guilty to the crime, a Class E felony, in March 2013. In October, he was sentenced to five years’ probation and required to register as a sex offender.
