George Soros does not have to comply with subpoenas from Fox News regarding communications between the billionaire philanthropist and voting technology company Smartmatic, a New York judge ruled Monday.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice David B. Cohen issued the bench ruling quashing the subpoenas following oral arguments by Benjamin McCallen of Willkie Farr & Gallager on behalf of the Soros non-parties, and Aaron Marks of Kirkland & Ellis on behalf of Fox.
