William Hochul has announced his decision to step down from his job as general counsel of Delaware North, a private food service and hospitality firm based in western New York. Hochul’s departure will take effect on Aug. 15, according to a statement from the company.

Hochul, the Buffalo-headquartered firm’s in-house general counsel, is the husband of New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.
