Emphasizing her client E. Jean Carroll’s advancing age and former President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign plans, Roberta Kaplan of Kaplan Hecker & Fink on Monday urged a federal judge to move ahead with adjudicating outstanding issues in Carroll’s original case against the former president.

“E. Jean Carroll is eager to get this case, originally filed in late 2019, resolved while she remains in good health and before Donald Trump’s time and attention are consumed entirely by his presidential campaign,” Kaplan wrote.
