A southwestern New York trial court judge on Wednesday kept the state’s Assembly redistricting lines intact for the scheduled June 28 primary, even though it followed the same legislative process that led to unconstitutionally gerrymandered congressional and state Senate districts in favor of Democrats.

Acting Steuben County Supreme Court Justice Patrick F. McAllister ruling denied 11th-hour requests from both sides of the political aisle to intervene and invalidate the Assembly map.
