Cordell Cleare, D-Manhattan, and Assemblymember Jessica González-Rojas, D-Queens, co-sponsored the reproductive freedom and equity program act, A10148, which was introduced May 4, in wake of a leaked draft of the U.S. Supreme Court’s deliberations in a related case that indicates the court plans to overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that established a constitutional right to abortions.
