The revolving door between Big Law firms and the federal government remains in full swing this week, as firms continue to recruit former government talent to woo clients. Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, and Squire Patton Boggs all announced partner hires this week in Washington, D.C., who had strong government experience.

Skadden brought on David A. Simon as a global co-head of its cybersecurity and data privacy practice and partner in the firm’s national security group based in Washington, D.C. Simon joins from Mayer Brown, where he co-led the firm’s global cyber incident response.
