The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee announced its first judicial nominations hearing after Tuesday’s midterm elections, and it’s a day earlier than usual.
No new nominees have been announced, and hearings under Committee Chair Dick Durbin, D-Illinois, have usually been scheduled for Wednesdays, including even a recent hearing held during Congressional recess.
