A federal judge in Washington, D.C., said Friday she will keep in place the Biden administration’s latest version of the eviction moratorium, but questioned whether it would survive future challenges at higher courts.
U.S. District Judge Dabney Friedrich of the District of Columbia issued the ruling Friday, days after attorneys with Jones Day—on behalf of landlord groups—filed an emergency order in her court over the latest version of the eviction moratorium.
