Texas-based financial technology company AffiniPay announced Thursday that it will acquire legal practice management software MyCase, integrating it with AffiniPay’s online payment solution LawPay, to spread its roots further into the legal tech market.

Combining their client bases, the integrated platform will serve over 65,000 law firms across the U.S. and Canada, seeking to merge the case management suite with payment options such as “By Now Pay Later,” mobile app, QR code, and text-to-pay powered payments, according to the press release announcing the acquisition.
