The Pennsylvania judiciary is going to see a $22 million budget increase in the 2011-12 fiscal year that started Friday even as the majority of state court systems in the country have experienced budget cuts.

Fifty-seven percent of state court systems had their budgets cut in the last fiscal year, while 31 percent had an increase and 12 percent saw no change, according to the National Center for State Courts.
