Lordstown Motors Corp. announced Monday that two of its executives accused of securities violations have resigned, immediately following consolidation of two cases claiming the company exaggerated its progress on production of an all-electric pickup truck.

Two derivative cases were consolidated and lead counsel was confirmed at the end of last week, and the company has appointed executives to temporarily step in for Lordstown founder and CEO Steve Burns and CFO Julio Rodriguez until permanent replacements are found.
