ST. ANTHONY, Minn. (AP) — Muslim leaders are considering their options for legal action after the city Council rejected their plan to locate an Islamic place of worship in St. Anthony.

A proposal for the creation of the Abu-Huraira Islamic Center in the basement of the former Medtronic headquarters has been in limbo for months due to residents’ objections and while city leaders studied zoning issues.
