Those charged with vetting would-be judges for Gov. Sonny Perdue soon may find themselves drowning in a sea of rsums and writing samples.

The 48 nominees to replace Chief Justice Leah Ward Sears after she retires from the Supreme Court of Georgia at the end of this month have until Monday to provide completed biographical questionnaires to members of the Judicial Nominating Commission if they want to be considered for the job. So far, only three have told the JNC they are not interested.
