In my humble opinion, we do a pretty good job at the Litigation Daily of keeping tabs on senior litigation partners who are at the top of their game and junior lawyers who are making the first strides toward figuring out what it means to be a litigator. Where we shine our editorial light less often, it seems to me, is on those litigators who have reached the weighty milestone of making partner but likely have the majority of their legal careers still in front of them.

Thankfully our friends over at Law.com have focused on just those types of lawyers as part of their “How I Made It” series of Q&As. Once again, I’ve combed through their work over the past year to find all the litigators who recently made partner. This year the collection was so extensive, I’ve decided to concentrate first on just the seven profiles of litigators in the Am Law 50, the biggest of Big Law firms. I intend to dig into the responses of new litigation partners in firms 51-100, the Second Hundred and litigation boutiques in future columns.
