Baker Donelson has named Atlanta shareholder Michelle A. Williams as the leader of its health care regulatory team, where she will support the broader health care practice group and its more than 200 lawyers. The firm has also named Baltimore shareholder Craig Holden co-chair of its health care practice, alongside Nashville, Tennessee, shareholder Ashby Burks.

Williams focuses her practice on  the regulatory and structuring aspects of hospital mergers, acquisitions and integrations. On her first day in the new role, she spoke with the Daily Report about her plans to embody the firm’s values—”that includes subject matter excellence, client development and making sure that we have solutions for our clients in what is really, especially in the pandemic, an incredibly complex health care industry,” she said.
