Hartford Fire Insurance Company and Liberty Mutual were sued Friday in Florida Northern District Court for claims under the Miller Act, which protects subcontractors and suppliers on federal construction projects. The court action, brought by Pennington P.A. on behalf of Edwards Electric Service, pertains to a $4.6 million subcontract on a U.S. Navy construction project.
