Farah & Farah is a personal injury firm headquartered in Jacksonville with offices across Florida and Georgia.

What do you think has been the most effective step you’ve taken to increase diversity and inclusion at your firm, and why?

In truth, it’s not any specific “step” we’ve taken that promotes diversity at the firm. Rather, it’s who we are, as individuals and as a firm, that has infused diversity into so much of what we do. My brother and I are of Arab-American heritage and lead a fusion of attorneys who speak more than 15 languages and represent clients from a broad cross-section of the community. To provide dedicated service to such a mix of clients, we must reflect that diversity in our team of lawyers and staff. It was this foundational belief, rather than the adoption of any “program” or “process,” that resulted in a team of Farah & Farah employees made up of almost one-third racial or ethnic minorities and more than half identifying as female.
